The Key Account Project Manager is a hybrid role responsible for managing client communications and leading digital strategy development for various marketing campaigns. Serving as the primary liaison between Sales and the Optimization teams (Ads, Creative, Content), this role is involved both before and after a deal closes. The Key Account Project Manager works with the Sales team to develop strategic marketing proposals, participates in client pitches as the primary strategic liaison, and ensures smooth onboarding once the contract is signed.
After onboarding, the Key Account Project Manager drives strategic alignment, coordinates execution across media, content, and creative teams, leads monthly and quarterly client meetings, and monitors campaign performance for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is client-centric, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment, managing multiple accounts while thinking both creatively and strategically.
Create digital marketing strategies aligned with client goals and funnel stages
Present proposals, reports, and updates to clients
Coordinate and track projects with internal teams
Ensure all briefs to internal teams are clear and complete
Maintain client relationships and ensure retention
Analyze reports and recommend next steps
Provide proactive status updates and raise blockers early
Identify and collaborate on upselling or cross selling opportunities
